Early Payment Implementation Project Responsibilities

  • Establish an understanding of the As-Is process and KPIs, through analysis of data and via client questionnaires and workshops
  • Document recommendations required to align to Oxygen’s core deliverables and to best practice P2P
  • Present recommendations to the Client, achieving buy in and agreement of key actions and timescales for delivery
  • Work with the Client to deliver all Process related contractual changes required, within the project timescales
  • Support the delivery of any wider P2P recommendations that have been agreed
  • Deliver Client team training required to support the ongoing delivery of the solution

Supporting Responsibilities

  • Generate case studies from successful Client projects and use these as reference points where changes to process are a concern for Clients
  • Ensure all process related Assets are continually reviewed and updated to improve ways of working and reflect any changes in legislation or internal process
  • Act as point of escalation for Process related support queries from clients
  • Support Service Management client process improvements where required
  • Support the resolution of VIP supplier process issues

Essential skills, qualifications & experience

  • Direct experience of working within a P2P function (ideally on a change management programme) for a minimum of six months or more
  • A solid understanding of P2P end to end processes
  • Project experience
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proficient in use of PowerPoint for presentations and Excel to analyse data
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships and be a team player
  • Willingness to learn
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and constantly changing requirements
  • Extremely numerate
  • Process mapping experience (using Visio or similar)

Desirable skills, qualifications & experience

  • Experience of managing a project workstream
  • Excel data manipulations skills
  • Dynamic invoicing discounting experience
  • eInvoicing experience
  • Procurement or AP background
  • Experience in Local Authority P2P processes
  • Experience of P2P related processes within the Care or Construction sector

Additional role information

The Process Improvement role is based within our Implementation team, that is led by our Head of Programmes. This team focuses on delivering the core Oxygen Early Payment solution to new clients. The team is responsible for ensuring client implementations are carried out in a smooth and timely manner, involving the rapid application of Oxygens standard process improvement solutions and its methods in challenging client environments.

The Process Improvement workstream delivers process and procedural requirements throughout all our product offerings, but specifically the Early payment programme life-cycle, i.e. Assessment, Implementation, and in-life delivery service delivery/management.
